Taylor J has been about his business for about almost a decade running (in the rap game). This St. Paul veteran has dropped many projects that claim the Twin Cities, specifically St. Paul. Taylor J has made a colorful musical history for himself over the last years and has been on songs with big time names like Gucci Mane, Nipsey Hussle, DJ Holiday, and other well known artists. Taylor J knows how to deliver his story and his sound feels genuine.

Taylor J has great melodies that sound like soulful-thug inspired cries over trap beats. You can feel his seriousness as well as his positive motives. J talks about taking care of his family, staying focused and gettin’ back in his bag. Taylor J don’t play with these lyrics, he gives you a nice reality check and touches base on his deepest thoughts.
These EP’s that he drops in between projects are just little plugs that tide us over until he releases a larger body of work, so the anticipation is real as fuck. His newest project (2019) ‘Coolin Till My Album 3rd Drop’ is a five song EP that is a total of twelve minutes long.
Taylor J Takeover is his movement, brand, and motto. “Its organized success”. It’s safe to say that Taylor J will be putting out super dope projects that rep’ The Paul, HARD. For now you can enjoy his quantitative, but qualitative projects to hold you over for the next big project.
