Southsides' own: Tory Vanz
South-sides’ very own Tory Vanz delivers fresh bars. He’s got a unique flavor that provides clarity as well as punctuation. Vanz has a four song EP produced by Comp_Keyz. There is always a new artist popping out of Southside, Minneapolis so he’s gotta put out dope shit to keep up, which he does.
Tory Vanz meets lyrical expectations as well as making sure his beats match his style. The beats as well as the lyrics are filled with passion and sentiment, at the same time being palatable to your ears.
This project is small but efficient, and is all around solid. It starts off with the song ‘Lemon Haze’ which includes soft piano keys embedded with chill snares and drums filled with bass. This is a well produced track by his homie Comp_Keyz. The voice of Tory Vanz helps depict the feeling and emotion that he wants to deliver.
This Southside cat has ill bars that remind you of rolling up and getting through the everyday struggle. He paints a picture that shows you the stressful side to life, but to also makes you appreciate everything you got, and to count your blessings. The project ‘SZNS Vol. 1’ is available for streaming on all platforms.
Comp_Keyz
Vanz has a small collection of music at the moment, but we can expect more projects from Tory Vanz in the near future. This is a well-thought-put-together project and is worth giving a listen to. Keep your ears to the street and stay alert!
