Brief information on MN Legit:
Minnesota Legit and Stone Arch Glass Studio were established in 2011. Over the years MN Legit has expanded their business nationwide including both east and west coast, and several other states through out the U.S. They are located in Northeast, Minneapolis. At the moment MN Legit has seven glass blowers on their team that make unique pieces.
Minnesota Legit produces amazing glass pieces and water pipes and has impacted the local glass blowing industry by providing access to different services and products. You can recognize a Minnesota Legit piece by the quality of the glass; the glass is thick and super clean looking. Every time you purchase a MN Legit piece you are left satisfied with a solid yet affordable product. (Plus, the warranty for repairs is a great deal).
Minnesota Legit added a wood shop down the street in which the company makes their wooden dugouts that includes a pinchie that turns into a bowl.
The company is also known for repairs as well as offering a warranty on all their pieces. Along with the repairs, they provide the service of producing custom orders and provide supplies/raw materials to independent local glass blowing artists.

GLASSBLOWING INFORMATION:
MN Legit offers glass blowing classes to every kind of glassblower whether you are a beginner, a little rusty with experience or a veteran. MN Legit can match your skill level.
They offer two different intro classes. The express class is designed to give you a brief introduction to lamp-working, and runs for two hours from 4-6PM on scheduled Fridays. This class is to feel-out what glass blowing entails and what to expect. The express class costs $20 (plus tax) per person, and that includes all materials and overhead.
They offer a complete introduction class, held on scheduled Saturdays. This class is about half the size of the express intro class, and runs from 10AM to 5PM, with a one hour lunch break. This class costs $100 (plus tax) per person, and will include materials and overhead as well.
You can take the full intro class an unlimited amount of times, to master your basic skills. It is advised that students take the intro class at least a few times before taking their advanced course. Course schedules vary from month to month so be sure to contact MN Legit prior to your desired date.
The instructor, Tom, was very helpful and had time to help out everyone individually. The way he explained everything was efficient and easy to understand, he made the class interesting and a great time!
