Can I Kick It: Celebrating 50 Years of Hip-hop was hosted by Essjay The Afrocentric Ratchet.
DJ Kru held it down on the 1’s and 2’s displaying versatility in his music selection. DJ Kru was able to engage his audience by showcasing a blend of styles & eras of hip-hop. The perfect ode to the culture. Sets by Juice Lord, Tailor Briann, and Special Guest Dom Mooney. Each Artist brought individuality helping curate an ultimate atmosphere for excellent audience engagement.

The event kicked off with an unforgettable cypher. Beats were fully produced and selected by Ace P.
Featured Artists included: Selah C, June Tha Kid, Vinny Crooks, Righteous Emcee, Dungeon TheBaptist, Bdotcroc, and J’mere.

Juice Lord fresh off tour showcased tracks from his latest release titled ‘8th Inning: Love vs Passion’. Since being back from tour Juice has had the Twin Cities on lock being invited to various events through-out the metro. Stay tuned for his upcoming show ‘Juice Lord Un-plugged’ at Ice House. Tailor Briann has the Twin Cities in the palm of her hand. Ms. Tai Way just released her latest visual last week for track titled ‘C.R.E.A.M’ off her latest EP titled ‘Tai Way’. Stay tuned for her upcoming project. Dom Mooney just premiered his pre-eminent project titled ‘Good to See You’. Dom had been consistently releasing a track a week in preparation for the release of his project. Dom single-handedly produced his latest work.
