A rainy Friday night at Ice house; Zhan’s ‘Drugs’ release party contained lots of great energy distributed by several talented artists.

The opening act Knucky had a strong delivery, setting a great tone for the rest of show. Knucky was spittin’ aggressive bars accompanied by well-produced beats. Knucky delivers confident and versatile lyrics.

Lucien Parker came in with a different sound. Lucien combines his melodic vocals with his uptempo beats. He kind of gives you a more poppy and R&B vibe, that shit was ill and unique.

Why Khaliq sounds exactly the same live as he does on recorded tracks, one can really appreciate the authenticity of his sound as well as his stage presence. Why Khaliq has a project coming soon so, stay tuned.

Zhan closed the show down nicely, he played the new music off of his new EP, ‘Drugs’. ‘Drugs’ has a variety of sounds jam packed into a five track EP. The message being conveyed isn’t of actual drugs, BUT to apply the addiction mentality to a positive entity that motivates and up lifts you and the people around you.
