Shrimpnose x K. Raydio...release party

Left to right: Radio Ahlee and Destiny Roberts (Twin Cities Hip-hop Corner)

A night at 7th St. Entry for the release of ‘…And the World Weeps’ .

Radio Ahlee is really something else. Ahlee got the show started on a positive and inviting note. Expressing connection with his audience and showing deep appreciation creating a more intimate connection with the crowd. His set was improvised which gave us a sentiment of authenticity.

Destiny Roberts was spitting bars talking about relationships and life. Her beats were wavy and her lyrics delivered bits and pieces of her story which created an attentive audience. Destiny Roberts also announced that she has a gang of projects dropping this year, so it’ll be dope to see what these upcoming projects will have in store.

Nazeem and Spencer Joles’ set had an up-tempo feel and that aspect helped move the crowd around. The duo clearly shared brotherly chemistry that is unstoppable. It’s cool to see duos thrive because it’s rare to find one that shares the stage organically . The cherry on top was that they featured a saxophonist on their set that complimented both beats and vocals. Whats that dudes name? Shouts out that dude!

Shrimpnose and K. Raydio’s set was super dope! This was the official release of …And the World Weeps produced by Shrimpnose, he never disappoints on the beat. For those of you who haven’t heard of Shrimpnose, he creates beats that are filled with bass while embedding dreamy chimes and sounds sharing the feeling of taking a trip through space (shit is raw son!). K. Raydio has an excellent voice that generates an affable feeling of deep-thought and compassion. The combination of well produced beats and rehearsed vocals were enjoyable and pleasing.
